Whether you're an experienced adventurer (me) or a reluctant homebody (my husband), you're in the best of hands with Timeh Tours. We worked with Ivy on an itinerary for a weekend excursion from Accra to the Cape Coast that accommodated our tight schedule. Then Jojo William took over as our guide and driver. It was a perfect experience!

The Cape Coast road from Accra is a giant construction project. Jojo skillfully got the Land Cruiser thru the detours and police checkpoints and delivered us safely to Lemon Beach resort. Our meals and non-alcoholic drinks were included in our package, and we enjoyed the cuisine as well as the Akuma Dance Ensemble performance Saturday evening.

Also included were our entrance fees to cultural and historic sites, such as Elmina and Cape Coast Castles. These sites are profoundly moving, and the expert guides called upon visitors to own the truths of the past and combat the scourge of human trafficking and modern-day slavery.

Timeh Tours also arranged a visit to a female batik artisan. Louisa carves her own stamps, mixes her dyes, and then teaches her visitors her art and craft. We had so much fun creating our own table cloths under tutelage. It was a big highlight of our visit.

We also managed to visit Kakum National Park and do the canopy walk. The ~280 steps to the top are a challenge, but the views and experience are worth it.

Again, Jojo was tremendous. Behind the wheel, he truly held our lives in his hands. His knowledge and calm, kind, hospitable demeanor made this the experience of a lifetime for both an adventurer and an armchair traveler. Timeh Tours was the best!

Timeh Tours Reliable Car Rental with Great Service

My company used Timeh Tours for a vehicle rental and had a very good experience. The car was clean, comfortable, and in good condition. Pickup and return were easy, and everything happened on time as agreed. We rented their Toyota Landcruisers and Toyota Corollas for our business in Ghana.

The team was friendly, responsive, and professional throughout the process. Communication was clear, and there were no surprises, which made the whole experience stress-free.

I had an amazing trip through Ghana with Timeh Tours. My guide Jojo was fantastic: knowledgeable, funny, and always making sure I felt safe and comfortable.
What I appreciated most was how he took me to the real places: artisan workshops, lively markets, and villages where I could meet the people behind the crafts. I came home with shea butter, recycled glass beads, and Kente textiles that I watched being woven.
Thanks to Jojo, I also discovered Ghana’s food culture: the best jollof rice, roadside plantain chips, and even zoomkoom, a refreshing millet and ginger drink.

Unforgettable Two Weeks with Timeh Tours
I spent two weeks in Ghana with Timeh Tours and it was unforgettable. My guide Jojo was professional, kind and funny, and always made me feel safe.Instead of tourist shops, we visited artisan workshops and villages where I could meet the makers. 10/10- Best Trip Ever!
It's actually taken me a while to write this review because I don't know if I can convey just how much I loved this trip and working with Timeh Tours. It was unbelievable and life-changing- the only regret I have is that I didn't invite more people to come with me!I had planned a trip with a different, US-based tour company two years ago, and a week before the trip they cancelled. I had to scramble and reached out to Timeh Tours. They immediately got back to me (even with the time difference!) and had created a custom trip for us. The team communicated with me every step of the way, and even gave me different hotel options (I'm a little boujee LOL). The itinerary had even MORE than the first trip we planned and cost less.Jojo was our tour guide and he was AMAZING. Instantly treated us like family, was knowledgable, friendly, and really catered to us. Can I just say how awesome it was to have a private guide AND a private driver? We were able to take our time and really enjoy all Timeh Tours had planned. The trip was the perfect mix of history, culture, and more. While we spent time seeing and understanding the devastation of the slave trade and colonization, we also got to experience the rich, unique Ghanian culture and heritage.
