Day 01 :
Tamale Domestic Flight, Shea Butter Lessons, Traditional Fabric Weaving
- Start your day with a pick-up for your domestic flight from Accra to Tamale. When you arrive, your friendly guide will welcome you to begin your tour.
- After your Tamale airport pickup, begin your tour with an exciting Shea butter lesson. Learn how local women transform Shea nuts into pure, natural butter using age-old techniques, and try your hand at making your own blend.
- End your day with a visit to a local weaving community to see how smocks (fugu or batakari) are handwoven using traditional looms. Discover the stories behind the patterns, meet skilled local artisans, and even try weaving a few lines yourself before heading back to your hotel for the evening.

Day 02 :
Pikoro Slave Camp, Paga Crocodile Pond, Navrongo Catholic Cathedral
- Start your morning with a visit to the Pikworo Slave Camp, a historic site located near Paga in the Upper East Region. Explore the ancient rock formations, learn about the lives of enslaved Africans who were held here before being taken to the coast and listen to local guides share stories that preserve this important part of Ghana’s history.
- Continue your journey with a visit to the famous Paga Crocodile Pond, where sacred crocodiles live in harmony with the local people. Experience the unique tradition of interacting safely with these reptiles, guided by local caretakers who share the cultural and spiritual significance of the pond.
- End your day with a visit to the Navrongo Catholic Cathedral, one of Ghana’s oldest and most beautiful churches. - Continue your tour with a community walk at Janikura, where you’ll explore traditional mud buildings with thatch roofs, interact with friendly locals and discover the secrets of herbal medicine passed down through generations, and dance with the local folks. Continue to Mole to relax at your lodge by the pool and reflect on your amazing experiences.

Day 04 :
Mole National Park, Mognori-Eco Village, Larabanga Mosque, Mole National Park Night Safari
- Wake up to the sounds of nature and great views from your lodge at Mole National Park. Start your day with a morning drive safari led by a wildlife expert. Spot elephants, buffalo, kob, warthogs and monkeys as you enjoy the park.
- Next, explore Mognori Eco-Village. Enjoy a peaceful canoe safari where you’ll glide along the river and spot beautiful bird species while enjoying the calm sounds of nature.
- Continue with a visit to the historic Larabanga Mosque, Ghana’s oldest and most revered mosque, known for its unique Sudanese-style architecture and deep spiritual significance. End your day with a thrilling night safari at Mole National Park, where you’ll have the chance to spot nocturnal animals in their natural habitat.

Day 05 :
Mole National Park, Drive to Tamale, Gari Making Lesson, Kotoka Airport Drop-Off
- Wake up at Mole National Park, enjoy a morning walking safari and get ready to head back to Accra. Take a moment to enjoy the beautiful scenery and remember your adventure in this wildlife haven.
- After your morning at Mole National Park, enjoy a long drive to Tamale and join a hands-on Gari-making lesson. Learn how this beloved West African staple is produced from processing cassava to roasting the grains to perfection.
