Aburi Botanical Gardens, Cedi Beads, Dodi Island
- Begin your day with a trip to Atimpoku. First, visit Ghana’s beautiful botanical garden, where you can rent bikes, go paintballing, or try quad biking. Unleash your creativity with painting and test your aim with archery (extra fees apply). If you want, stop by the Aburi craft market for unique shopping before heading to the garden..
- Next, head to a local bead workshop that offers a variety of beautiful beads for collectors and enthusiasts. Here, you can watch and learn how beads are made, gaining insight into this traditional craft.
- When you arrive in Atimpoku, take a moment to admire the Adomi Bridge, Ghana’s only steel arch bridge. Enjoy a refreshing motorboat ride on the Volta River before heading to your resort. If you arrive on Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday, you can visit Dodi Island. They offer Boat Cruises on weekends, with regular cruises leaving at 9 AM. For a special experience, join the night cruise on Sundays at 9 PM for beautiful views and a lively atmosphere.

Volta River Breakfast, Odomankoma Cultural Village
- Start your morning with an outdoor breakfast by the Volta River. Enjoy the scenic views and watch local fishermen return with their catch, greeting you in their local language.
- Next, enjoy a drive to the Ashanti region whiles making a stop at Bamang, known for Kente weaving. Here, you can see how Kente is made and shop for beautiful pieces. If you want, you can join a traditional Naming Ceremony at the Chief’s palace, with drumming and dancing for an extra fee.
- Then, visit a cocoa farm. You get to tour the farm, learn about the cocoa production process and experience a hands-on demonstration of how cocoa pods are cultivated and processed. After that, return to your hotel in Kumasi to end a day of art and tradition.
