- Start your day with a scenic one-hour drive from Accra to Aburi, where you’ll be greeted by the stunning hills surrounding the Akwapim townships. Enjoy breathtaking views of Accra from the elevated hills, and for those seeking a bit of adventure, consider a hike from the Aburi-Oyarifa tollbooth to the top.
- Make a stop at the renowned Aburi Craft Village, a treasure trove of beautiful crafts, including wooden sculptures, masks, carved animals, beadwork, and fabrics. Here, you can find unique souvenirs at affordable prices, and your guide will be on hand to assist with bargaining.
- Next, explore the lush Aburi Botanical Gardens, home to a diverse collection of local and exotic trees, well-manicured lawns, and various wildlife. For an added thrill, bicycles and quad bikes are available for rent in the gardens.
